| Descripion | Vertical Total Electron Content (VTEC) from satellite altimetry is provided along-track for missions with dual-frequency instruments. This is the VTEC below the satellites’ altitude (different for different missions). In addition to VTEC, the range delay as well as information on local time and geomagnetic latitude is provided. Version 02 is computed from the pre-processed smoothed correction. Version 06 is based on a simpler in-house smoothing. |
